Yammer trial is near completed and staff are really treating it as over. However, as a definite majority would like Yammer continued, it is not clear how to finish up. The network does not really close and the data remains. Group performance statistics have not been added as this data may not be appropriate whilst free version is in use and data is not owned.

All staff will have to leave the network in the interim. Yammer is excellent for teams and project groups; perhaps long term professional development; certainly mirrors the functionality of common personal communication channels. It has taken a significant amount of time to get this far; the concern is to make that investment worthwhile.

A wiki may be adequate to retain links etc for individual use. It would be good to develop a wiki or Pageflakes to attach to the eRecords blog to showcase suggested resources. Management of Yammer tagging also needs further investigation. Staff didnt add feeds into the trial so current content needs little organising and not much to show on a Pageflakes.
