Effective use of learning resources findings

Do we all have a tendency to put extensive effort into poorly-evaluated tasks intending to achieve the perfect result? … misdirected effort when an acceptable result could be achieved with better analysis (particularly in work context). Perfection is a colossus … which doesnt loom quite so large in today’s less didactic educational world; where many answers may be correct; where the trajectory of inquiry may be more important in the learning context, than simply learning to reproduce detail... Yet the intensive training of master to apprentice still has place and often learning must be comprehensive to be successful … art and music are obvious disciplines … abstract art is a culmination of learning, not a child’s initial foray … jazz, improvisation an acute discipline … acting … a truly multi intelligent craft.

 

Multiple intelligences, multiple learning styles, multiple learning strategies, multi-literacies ... a Mad Hatters Tea party of concepts ...
